The desk shows the latest episodes from the chosen shows as rich brief cards built from Synorb's audio manifests: the episode headline, the narrative brief (body_markdown), the structured key takeaways and guest/people tags Synorb extracted, claim chips, reading-time, and an embedded audio player with a 'Listen at the source' deep link to the real episode URL (latent.space, lexfridman.com) that Synorb returned. Each card's claims link to that same source. A 'People & Topics' rail (built from the person/organization/topic tags) lets the user filter the desk ('only episodes that discussed Anthropic or Terence Tao'). A saved Beacon keeps new episodes flowing. Web search fills only gaps (e.g. a show note Synorb hasn't ingested), clearly marked 'web, unverified.'
