1. Scope
This Policy applies to all use of Synorb, including use by humans, software, agents, models, applications, scripts, customers, end users, contractors, and integrations acting through your account, credentials, organization, or application.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Synorb and any downstream use of Synorb outputs complies with this Policy, the Terms, applicable law, and third-party rights.
2. General Rules
You may use Synorb to retrieve, evaluate, transform, and incorporate source-backed context into your internal workflows, applications, agents, research, monitoring, reporting, and products, subject to your plan, documentation, quotas, rate limits, and any separate written agreement.
You must use reasonable care before relying on outputs. Synorb outputs may be incomplete, stale, incorrect, or unsuitable for your use case. You are responsible for review, validation, citations, compliance checks, and downstream decisions.
3. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Synorb to:
- Violate any law, regulation, court order, contract, third-party right, privacy right, publicity right, intellectual property right, or source restriction.
- Create, promote, or facilitate malware, credential theft, phishing, spam, fraud, harassment, doxxing, stalking, abuse, violence, exploitation, or unlawful discrimination.
- Generate, retrieve, package, or distribute illegal content or content that violates third-party rights.
- Misrepresent Synorb outputs as complete, guaranteed, official, exhaustive, real-time, or error-free.
- Remove source attribution, provenance, warnings, limitations, or metadata in a way that materially misleads downstream users.
- Use Synorb in a way that creates unreasonable load, security risk, operational risk, source risk, legal risk, or reputational risk for Synorb, users, partners, sources, or third parties.
4. High-Impact and Regulated Uses
Unless Synorb gives prior written approval, you may not use Synorb outputs as the sole or primary basis for decisions that have legal, financial, safety, health, or similarly material effects on a person. This includes decisions about credit, lending, insurance, employment, hiring, education, housing, benefits, medical care, legal rights, government services, law enforcement, criminal prosecution, immigration, or eligibility for a license or regulated service.
You may not use Synorb as a consumer reporting agency, for FCRA-covered purposes, for hard background checks, or to make adverse decisions about individuals. You may not present Synorb as providing legal, medical, financial, investment, tax, or other professional advice.
5. Sources, Third-Party Terms, and Rights
Synorb does not give you rights in third-party source materials beyond rights we can grant. You are responsible for your own compliance with third-party terms, licenses, rights, and laws that apply to your use, storage, display, redistribution, or transformation of any source-derived material.
You may not use Synorb to bypass paywalls, authentication, robots restrictions, access controls, anti-abuse systems, rate limits, source terms, or other technical or contractual boundaries. Synorb does not bypass publisher terms or traffic monetization boundaries.
6. Security, Rate Limits, and Abuse
You may not interfere with, disrupt, scan, probe, attack, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Synorb, its systems, its sources, its users, or its partners. You may not evade quotas, billing, rate limits, identity checks, usage monitoring, or access controls.
You may not share, sell, publish, or expose API keys, MCP tokens, session cookies, or other credentials. You must promptly notify us if credentials are compromised.
7. Resale, Extraction, and Competitive Uses
Unless a separate written agreement allows it, you may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, bulk export, or make Synorb outputs available as a standalone data feed, database, graph, marketplace, index, monitoring service, or competing product.
You may not use Synorb to recreate the Synorb graph, infer non-public system behavior, build a substitute for the Service, train a foundation model or competing retrieval/data product, benchmark the Service publicly, or harvest significant portions of outputs beyond ordinary use of your plan.
8. Agents, Applications, and End Users
You are responsible for agents, applications, workflows, and end users that access Synorb through your account or credentials. You must provide downstream users with appropriate notices, restrictions, review steps, and safeguards for your use case.
If you expose Synorb outputs to end users, your terms and implementation must be at least as protective of Synorb, third-party rights, source limits, and output limitations as these Terms and this Policy.
9. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, limit, throttle, revoke, rotate, or terminate access to protect the Service, sources, users, partners, or third parties. We may remove or restrict content, credentials, integrations, or outputs that we believe create risk or violate this Policy.
10. Reporting
Report suspected abuse, security issues, rights concerns, or misuse to team@synorb.com. Include enough information for us to understand and review the issue.
