SynorbWatches a fixed set of first-party sources. Each item has a date, claims and the original link, so your assistant can show where a fact came from.

Set it up

Add Synorb as a connector. About two minutes.

Synorb is in review for the Claude and ChatGPT directories. Until a one-click listing is live, add it as a custom connector. We tested these steps on October 25, 2026. ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini sign you in to Synorb with OAuth, so you never paste a key into a chat. Finish the Synorb sign-in within 10 minutes of clicking Connect. If you see “Unknown or expired authorization request”, click Connect again.

Custom MCP server · tested Oct 25Directory listing in review

Use ChatGPT on the web. Adding a custom server depends on your plan and workspace: Free accounts cannot, and on Business or Enterprise an admin may need to allow it.

    Open chatgpt.com/plugins. Click Add (a round + in a narrow window), then Add custom MCP server.

    Don’t see it? Your plan or workspace may not allow custom servers. On some accounts it appears only after you turn on Developer mode in Settings.

    Name it Synorb. Under Connection, keep Server URL and enter https://mcp.synorb.com/mcp. Leave Authentication on OAuth.

    Names must be unique in your account. ChatGPT finds Synorb’s sign-in settings by itself, so you can skip Advanced OAuth settings.

    Tick I understand and want to continue, then click Create as a plugin.

    In the Connect Synorb window, click Connect. Sign in to Synorb and approve access. No account? Create one free first.

    Start a new chat, type @ and pick Synorb. Then ask your question.

Claude

Works on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. The Free plan allows one custom connector. Use claude.ai or the Claude desktop app.

    Go to Customize › Connectors. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.

    Name it Synorb, enter https://mcp.synorb.com/mcp and click Continue. Then finish the dialog.

    If Claude asks for an OAuth client, choose Register automatically. Synorb does not advertise support for the default, “Use Claude’s published identity”. If Claude says a connector with this URL already exists, close the dialog and click Connect on that one.

    Click Connect next to Synorb, sign in to Synorb and click Allow. No account? Create one free first.

    In a chat, click +, open Connectors and make sure Synorb is on. Then ask.

    The first time Claude uses a Synorb tool it asks you. Click Allow once or Always allow.

On a Team or Enterprise plan

An Owner adds the connector once in Organization settings › Connectors: Add, then Custom, then the URL above. Each member then finds Synorb under Customize › Connectors with the Custom label and clicks Connect.

Gemini

Custom app · tested Oct 26No directory listing

Google lets you add a custom app (an MCP server) only on the Gemini web app, with a personal Google Account, if you are 18 or over and in the US, in English, with Keep Activity on. Work and school accounts can’t do this yet.

    On a computer, open Gemini’s Settings › Connected Apps. Click + at the top right.

    Leave Additional settings alone. Synorb registers the app for you.

Gemini CLI, Gemini Enterprise and other clients

Gemini CLI takes a remote server with a header. Use a Synorb Key from synorb.com/connect/start:
