Synorb gives AI agents news from private companies and startups, such as Anthropic, Databricks, Deel, Cognition and Legora, taken from each company's own blog, changelog and newsroom, each as a short summary with key claims and a link. Agents connect through an MCP server or a REST API, so it works in Claude, ChatGPT and other agents. Synorb publishes this guide.

Why private companies are hard to follow

Private companies do not file with the SEC, and most of them get little press. What they announce, they announce on their own pages: product launches, customers, partnerships and hires. An agent that wants to know what a startup is doing has to read those pages, for every company it follows.

What Synorb covers

  • More than 1,000 private company Streams in Synorb's catalog on October 24, 2026, from AI labs such as Anthropic and OpenAI to companies such as Databricks, Deel, Verily, Legora and LangChain.
  • Each company's own sources: blog, newsroom, product changelog and, where it has one, podcast.
  • A Private Companies Beacon in the catalog, and a company_kind filter so your agent can search private companies only.

Set it up

Frequently asked questions

Can ChatGPT or Claude find news about a startup?

Yes, when connected to Synorb. Ask about a company by name, and your agent reads that company's own posts and links each one.

Does it include funding and valuation data?

No. Synorb covers what the companies publish, which can include funding announcements, but it is not a funding or valuation database.

What if a company is not covered?

Ask your agent to search Synorb's catalog by name first; searching is free. If the company is not there, it is not covered yet.

Can my agent follow a list of startups?

Yes. Save the companies as a Beacon. Synorb never pushes. Your agent runs the Beacon when it wants to, every morning or on demand, and reads only what is new. See how to set up a morning news briefing.
