Useful research is rarely one-and-done. You ask for a briefing, follow up, revisit supporting material, and compare it with what changed.
Synorb now counts the same Manifest once per account within a calendar month. Once it has been billed to your account that month, retrieving it again does not consume additional Manifest quota.
Your allowance goes toward additional information
Imagine your agent first retrieves three previously unbilled Manifests: A, B, and C. That uses three units of Manifest quota.
Later, it retrieves B, C, D, and E. B and C have already been billed that month, so only D and E add to usage. Across both requests, five unique Manifests count toward your allowance—not seven returned items.
Follow-up questions become easier to support
For users, you can revisit the same source material without every retrieval being treated as new consumption. For agents, ordinary research patterns become less wasteful:
- Returning to supporting material for a follow-up answer.
- Refreshing a research view whose results overlap an earlier pull.
- Retrying a retrieval that returns the same Manifests.
- Comparing new information with material already used that month.
A repeated query can still consume quota if it returns additional, previously unbilled Manifests. The saving follows the Manifest—not the wording of the question.
Returned is not the same as newly billed
A response can contain several Manifests while charging for only the new ones. Query and execution responses report manifests_billed_this_call, alongside the updated quota_used and quota_remaining values.
Your agent can use that receipt to explain consumption instead of assuming every returned item represents a new charge.
A few boundaries worth knowing
This is monthly reuse, not permanent ownership or unlimited access. The rule applies to the same Manifest within the same account and calendar month. Different Manifests covering the same event are still different items. When a new month begins, retrieving a Manifest can count toward that month’s allowance again.
Plan permissions, content availability, and request limits still apply. Model-provider processing charges are also separate from Synorb Manifest quota.
The practical benefit is simple: revisit information you already pulled, and preserve your monthly allowance for additional Manifests.
